How We Started

BORN FROM
DISASTER.
BUILT ON
COMMUNITY.

On April 25, 2015, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake devastated Nepal — killing over 9,000 people and destroying hundreds of thousands of homes.

"Within weeks, food, tents, and hygiene supplies were flowing into Ramkot — one of the hardest-hit villages — thanks to neighbors who had never even been to Nepal."

Co-founders Sudip Giri and Anjee Thapa turned that outpouring into a registered 501(c)(3) — and a commitment to stay present long after the cameras left.

What We Do

OUR PROGRAMS

Four pillars of lasting change — from emergency response to long-term community development across Nepal.

Education & Scholarships

Funding school access, supplies, and scholarship certificates for children in underserved communities — so every child gets a chance to learn.

Disaster Relief

When earthquakes, floods, or landslides strike, we mobilize — delivering food, shelter, and hygiene essentials to the most remote areas.

Livelihoods

Building sustainable income through vocational training, microenterprise support, and agricultural development so families thrive on their own.

Community Resilience

Partnering with local leaders to prepare neighborhoods for future disasters — building infrastructure, knowledge, and local networks from within.
